Anyone else find breakfast tedious and a bit of a faff? Unless it’s later in the day and therefore can be considered ‘brunch’ and comes with mimosa’s – I just cannot get that excited about breakfast. I enjoy eggs but every single day is a bit much and I really don’t enjoy cereal – milky cardboard that is actually shockingly bad for you…
I like to change things up with a smoothie now and again and this one is my favorite. The possibilities are endless with smoothies so google some different ones if you’d like to try some different ingredients. Fruit wise, I only enjoy berries so this works for me. Banana’s and I aren’t friends and most smoothies feature those slimy little buggers so I use yogurt instead which I love.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Half a cup of frozen mixed berries
Half a cup of Yogurt (for God’s sake don’t use that low fat nonsense)
Half a cup of water, soda water or coconut water (new favorite thing in life)
A tablespoon of nut butter (love macadamia nut butter)
Blend all together till smooth & enjoy
Takes 5 minutes to make and is a great quick substitute for breakkie or quick and easy snack.
